How to get to Bursa from Istanbul?

There are many different alternatives to go to Bursa from Istanbul.

 With private car:

You can get to Eskihisar Topçular ferryboat by using E-5 highway. Now you will come to Yalova with that ferryboat. After getting off the ferryboat you should drive in the direction of Gemlik. When you get there you can easily be in Bursa. It takes approximately 3-4 hours to get to Bursa.

 By bus:

It is possible for you to get to Bursa by getting on the buses from the bus terminal. You can go to Bursa by choosing a bus company. Nilüfer, Uludağ, Çağlar and Metro organize bus services to Bursa. It takes 4-5 hours by bus to get to Bursa.

 By seaway:

It is possible to reach Bursa with fast ferries from Yenikapı. These fast ferries run a few times in a day. It takes approximately 1-2 hours to get to Bursa with fast ferries.

 By using airlines

Although there is an airport in Bursa, there is no direct flight from Istanbul to Bursa. However, you can get to Bursa by using airline thanks to private planes or helicopters. But you need a special permission for this.
